PhD AI Student

Venkat is a PhD student and also a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Georgia's Precision Management/Well Being Lab in the Department of Poultry Science. He specializes in precision agriculture and poultry farming, focusing on developing and validating machine learning and deep learning models for monitoring poultry behavior and welfare. His work includes the application of computer vision, robotics, and mobile applications to improve precision management in poultry production. Venkat has presented his research at several international conferences and is a member of the Poultry Science Association.
