Assistant Professor, Forest Finance Bruno Kanieski da Silva is an Assistant Professor at the University of Georgia, specializing in Forest Finance. He holds a Ph.D. in Forest Economics and an M.A. in Economics from North Carolina State University, as well as an M.S. in Forestry from the University of São Paulo, Brazil. His research interests include forest finance and economics, timber markets, and advanced modeling techniques. Dr. Silva has extensive experience in both academia and industry. He has worked as a Forest Economist on multiple projects in the US and Latin America, where he developed timber supply models, price and finance models to analyze timber markets and forest economics. His expertise in quantitative modeling has been instrumental in developing innovative solutions for forest finance and management. In addition to his academic and professional achievements, Dr. Silva is passionate about outdoor sports, skateboarding, surfing and enjoys reading in his free time.
